Delivery Policy NB: When you accept delivery of your item(s), if you are unhappy with any aspect of the delivery or the items, please make a note explaining exactly what the problem is on the Proof of Delivery document you will be asked to sign. If you do not do this, we may not be able to accept returns requests. If you need the courier to leave a delivery with a neighbour, or to drop off without a signature, you must leave a note explaining this, which the driver can take away with them. Delivery costs on all orders below £100 are calculated depending on the size and number of items you are buying. Simply add the item(s) to your shopping cart and then proceed to the checkout to view the total cost. Please note that offshore deliveries and deliveries to remote parts of Scotland may incur a surcharge. Please contact us for details. We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 days, and on the rare occasion this is not possible we will contact you immediately with details. If an item is out of stock and on back order, we can process the order on a deposit basis. If you would like to check stock of any item, or would like to discuss reserving items on a deposit basis please call us. Cancellation Policy An order can be cancelled at any point up to the order being delivered. For cancellations after the goods have been delivered please see the returns policy. All cancellations must be made in writing, either by email to sales@woodentoyscompany.co.uk or by letter to 3 Brantwood Road, Stockport SK4 2RL. Returns Policy To return an item due to damages, discrepancies or because it is no longer required, please notify us within 7 working days of receipt of your order in writing, either by email to sales@woodentoyscompany.co.uk or by letter to 3 Brantwood Road, Stockport SK4 2RL. We reserve the right to refuse any return request that is made after 7 working days.
Delivery Options: Depending on the size and weight of the item(s) you are buying, your order will be dispatched in one of the following ways:Overnight Parcel Carrier For small items up to 25 kilos and no more than 1 metre in any dimension we use an overnight parcel carrier. You will receive an email to confirm dispatch and delivery will be the following day, between 9-5. If you are not available to accept the delivery, a calling card will be left and you can call the local depot to re-arrange or collect. Standard Delivery Standard delivery on items over 25 kilos and more than 1 metre in any dimension takes place with a one man specialist carrier. You will get an email to confirm that your order has been collected by them, and then they will call to arrange a time and day to deliver. The item will be placed in the room of choice but the driver will require assistance with larger, heavier items.
